Eight days. It’s the time we took to design and create The Eastern Path. We built this blog for our trip along the Silk Road.
October 8th. It's also the date we leave. This trip begins from Rennes and stops in Rennes. In fact, it's a loop with several steps as Anatolia, Caucase, Mongolia, or Bouriaty.
We are two "Bretons", digital and geography lovers. We met each others at LISAA, a graphic design school in Nantes. We are now designers. We've neither done, nor imagined that travel we are now heading out. We aren't seasoned travelers or atavistic explorers. We don't have the backpackers knowledge but the wanderer indigence.
Our will is to explore an elsewhere, abondance-free, some instinct and a lot of wanderers' curiosity.
We don't take the plane. From the window, we can see the distance and the time falling. We prefer walking or hitchiking.
During our trip, we will travel through the Alpes, the Balkans, Anatolia and Caucase mountains. We'll cross the persian territory, Central Asia, Pamir. We'll continue towards the Taklamaklan desert, the Sichuan and the Yunnan. We'll go up in Bouriaty and we'll go back in Europe.
The Eastern Path is our travelogue and we hope It will inspire you. Welcome!
